I am a PhD student in Kastner Research Lab @ UCSD CSE, focusing on hardware security and verification, building robust hardware/software co-designs, and accelerating AI/ML at the edge. Welcome to my personal blog, where I document my technical explorations, projects, and thoughts.

Tech Stack

  • Languages: SystemVerilog, Python, C/C++, OpenCL, Bash, Tcl
  • EDA Tools: AMD/Xilinx Vivado, Cadence Genus, Cadence Innovus, Synopsys Design Compiler
  • Verification: Verilator, Synopsys VCS, AMD Xsim, Cadence Xcelium, Questa Formal, SymbiYosys, cocotb
  • Other: Git, Docker, LaTeX, GitHub Actions

Projects

  • SoC Fuzzing Benchmark A framework to evaluate hardware verification methods by automatically injecting bugs into SoC IPs, providing a standardized testbed for fuzzers like Intel PreSiFuzz and RFuzz against industrial AXI cores.

  • CGRA4ML An open-source, automated framework for mapping complex, deep neural networks to custom parameterizable Coarse-Grained Reconfigurable Arrays (CGRAs) on FPGA and ASIC targets for scientific edge computing.

  • FireBridge: SoC Verification A novel integration framework allowing transactional verification of SystemVerilog subsystems with real C firmware payloads, dramatically accelerating iteration cycles without the overhead of full CPU simulation.

  • Formal AXI Verification Stack A lightweight, reusable stack of formally proven primitives and SystemVerilog assertions designed to bulletproof AXI4 protocol interactions, tested against both open-source and commercial formal solvers.

  • Formally Verified AXI Stream Systolic Array A lightweight, highly paramatrizable systolic array in SystemVerilog, integrated with Ibex-SoC via AXI DMAs, a custom DMA controller and corresponding C firmware. I’m currently formally verifying this using ghost abstractions.
