Monkey Thieves
Both my glasses were broken by monkeys last week.
I grew up with monkeys in Peradeniya. But I've never seen the likes of those who live in Vrindavan. They have learned to play this trick on tourists: They jump from nowhere, snatch your glasses, climb on a tree and you have to buy a frootie (fruit juice packet for 50 LKR) and throw at them to get it back.
Both my glasses: the photochromatic one and the powered sunglasses were lost this way and were damaged beyond repair when I got them back. Ordered two new glasses at Jaipur. All is well.
