Fraser Island 4WD [Australia 2018]
Week 17/24 . 2 nights camping, 3 days, 4WD trip to the largest sand island in the world. Huge and hue-ful rainwater lakes, shipwrecks, drive through rain forest, sunrise breakfast and French camping food.
Omar and Mikaël, who met me through a meetup group (we visited Lamington together), and their friends: Gabriel, Fritz, and Louisa invited me to join the 3-day 4WD trip. I brought Kim (Korea) as well. It was the best trip I had in Australia.
Lakes
With over 100 freshwater lakes, fed solely by rain and some of the cleanest in the world, Fraser island is a unique ecosystem. Tourists are not allowed to bathe, in the lakes, to preserve their pH.
